Because the items offered through this website are vintage, collectible, and often one-of-a-kind, purchases made through this site are subject to the terms outlined below. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
1. Authenticity & Nature of Goods
All items sold are original vintage fragrance products unless explicitly stated otherwise. Many items are decades old and may exhibit age-related characteristics consistent with long-term storage and age, including minor cosmetic wear, natural fill variation, packaging wear, and changes associated with fragrance maturation over time. These characteristics are normal for vintage items and do not constitute defects.
2. Item Representation & Buyer Responsibility
Each item is individually photographed and described as accurately as possible. Listing photographs represent the actual item being sold and constitute a material part of the item description. The buyer will receive the exact item shown in the listing photographs.
Buyers are solely responsible for reviewing all photographs, descriptions, measurements, and listing details prior to purchase. Failure to review listing details does not constitute misrepresentation.
3. Vintage Fragrance Disclaimer
Vintage fragrances may differ from modern formulations due to reformulation, ingredient restrictions, aging, storage conditions, and natural chemical evolution over time. Variations in scent performance, projection, color, or aroma are normal characteristics of vintage fragrance products and are not considered defects.
4. Orders & Payment
Orders are processed only after payment has been successfully completed. Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for suspected fraud, pricing errors, technical issues, or policy violations.
5. Shipping & Risk Transfer
Items are carefully packaged using protective materials appropriate for fragile collectible goods. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon confirmed delivery by the shipping carrier.
For orders utilizing package forwarding services, responsibility transfers to the buyer once delivery has been confirmed to the forwarding address.
6. Limited Return Eligibility
All sales are considered final except where a return is expressly authorized under the site’s Return Policy. Any approved return request must comply fully with the conditions outlined in the Return Policy.
7. Fraud Prevention & Anti-Tampering Policy
Due to the collectible and tamper-sensitive nature of fragrance products, shipment documentation may include photographs, packaging verification, weight verification, and shipment records.
Seller reserves the right to deny refunds for items showing evidence of use, spraying, opening, tampering, liquid removal, dilution, damage occurring after delivery, or alteration of packaging or contents.
8. Limitation of Liability
Seller shall not be liable for allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, personal dissatisfaction with scent characteristics, or changes in fragrance performance resulting from age, storage, or handling after delivery. Maximum liability is limited to the original purchase price of the item.
9. Intellectual Property & Site Content
All photographs, listing descriptions, branding, logos, graphics, and written content appearing on this website are the property of Golden Age Perfumes unless otherwise stated and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
10. Governing Policies
Purchases made through this website are additionally governed by our Return Policy and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.
