Eau de Vivara was introduced in 1968, three years after Emilio Pucci launched the original Vivara in 1965. Both fragrances are attributed to perfumer Michel Hy.

New York distributor identification, French manufacture, large 4-ounce splash presentation, absence of a UPC, fragile white enameled lettering, and period bottle styling are consistent with early production. 1970: The Vivara fragrance family expands with Stra-Vivara and Signor Vivara.

Later Years: The original Vivara and Eau de Vivara are discontinued.

Eau de Vivara should not be confused with the original 1965 Vivara, which has a substantially different and more extensive published fragrance composition.
